Tip 1:
There are some VIVES-students who want to rent out their room because they are going on exchange in the second semester.
I recommend you to contact the housing officer, Mr. Steve Vangroenweghe ([email protected]) and ask for a list of students who want to rent their room.

Tip 3:
If you are going to rent a room on the private market, please watch out for fraudulent landlords! There are some fraudulent landlords in Kortrijk, Brugge and other cities. They usually post an advertisement with beautiful photos of an available room on Facebook. Once an appointment is made with the “landlord” to visit the room and to draw up a rental agreement, the “landlord” will ask for a kind of deposit before the visit takes place.
The room doesn't exist… No one shows up for the appointment… The money is gone…
So please be aware of fake landlords!
